D4 – Ratings Forming Part of Navigational Watch (STCW II/4)
Scope:
This course has been designed to meet the requirements of STCW section II/4.Course is open to mariners who wish to obtain an appropriate certificate in order to perform duties as a deck rating forming part of a navigational watch.
Target:
The course has been designed to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills in seamanship required to perform duties as a deck rating forming part of a navigational watch.
Course content:
- Manage the ship and execute English steering command
- Careful observation of sight and hearing during guard
- Contributing to the monitoring and surveillance of the security guard
- Working with emergency equipment and applying emergency procedures
After successfully completing the course and examinations at the Harbor Master's Office, candidates will receive certificate issued by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia.
