Course Aim:

This course gives candidates the required training and knowledge as per the STCW, so as to be eligible to sit a TM Master Reg II/2 (limited to Yachts less than 3000GT) Oral Examination.

On successful pass of the oral examination, and presentation of the required sea service, candidates will be able to work as a Master on Yachts less than 3000GT – Unlimited Area, as per STCW Reg II/2.

Price & Duration:

The published price includes 100 hours of class-based and simulator training.

Intakes for this course are held every January and October.

Entry Requirements

Hold one of the following recognised qualifications:

A recognised Certificate of Competency as Chief Mate on yachts less than 3000 GT (STCW Regulation II/2)

or

A recognised Certificate of Competency as Master on yachts less than 500 GT (STCW Regulation II/2)

or

A recognised Certificate of Competency attesting a higher capacity than those mentioned above.

NB. To be eligible for the COC, applicants need to have:

The required STCW ancillary certificates .
The required sea going service. Various options of seagoing service are considered. Speak to us to verify your eligibility.
