I am currently working with an established Global Yacht Management Company searching for a Yacht/Technical Manager to join their team in their Fort Lauderdale office.
About the Role:
The Yacht/Technical Manager will serve as a key point of contact, offering technical and operational support to yacht owners, captains, and crew. You will ensure the highest standards of vessel operation, compliance, and maintenance across a portfolio of assigned yachts.
This is a full-time, office-based position in Fort Lauderdale. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the USA (valid Green Card or US Passport required). No visa sponsorship is provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage annual budgets
- Collaborate closely with Captains and Engineers to oversee maintenance schedules
- Organize and supervise annual dry dockings
- Monitor and manage vessel certification and documentation
- Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, and ISM/ISPS requirements
- Regularly travel to yachts for inspections and crew liaison
- Act as the primary contact for Owners and Captains and Crew
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience onboard large Superyachts (Captain, Chief Officer, or Chief Engineer)
- Some shore-based experience in a Yacht Management or Project Management role desirable
- Refit/Newbuild Dry Dock experience
- Strong knowledge of ISM/ISPS regulations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident decision-maker and problem-solver
- Demonstrated leadership and people management abilities
- Knowledge of classification society regulations
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Professional presentation and fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Proficient with technology and report writing
- Willing to travel frequently, as needed

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
