MUST BE AMERICAN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER
47 meter private yacht is looking for a Mate.
Male or Female with experience as Mate/Boson on >120’ yachts.
100 ton USCG Master minimum but 200 preferred, ECDIS Certified.
Confident in running and maintaining a safety focused boat with regular drills, Able to delegate deck duties but with only one Deckhand this role involves lots of hands on cleaning and maintenance of the exterior during the season, Mechanically minded to help Engineer with projects during the off season.
Summer cruising season to BC and Alaska then September through May based in Seattle doing upgrades and projects on the vessel.
PNW based or crew with experience living in colder climates preferred as we have the unique opportunity to shovel snow off the vessel in the winter. Opportunity for 4 day work weeks in the off season, PTO and Health insurance provided, Pay DOE.
