About this role

Permanent Captain opportunity 40+ busy private/Charter vessel. The yacht is based in port over the winter before preparing for a busy summer season in 2025.

Start date: By April 25th
Location: Mediterranean
Package: Salary in euros. 45 days leave which can be reviewed to 60 days after probabtion

Skills and Attributes Required:

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Captain on 40m + M/Y

This is a single-season program, and we are seeking a Captain that can maintain the current high standards of service and operations.

Excellent communication/leadership and organizational skills

Meticulous ISM/ISPS/ and Bridge knowledge

Safe and Competent navigational and ship handling skills

Qualifications Required:

• Master 500 – 3000 grt
• STCW (Fully Updated) with PDSD
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (valid for at least 6 months)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
