About this role

Second Stewardess – Charter/Private 50m S/Y

We are recruiting for a dynamic and capable Second Stewardess to join a 50m Charter/Private Sailing Yacht. The yacht is run to high standards with a professional yet friendly atmosphere on board. The successful candidate will join a supportive interior team and should also be comfortable cooking simple crew meals during the winter when the yacht is in Palma.

Start date: ASAP

Itinerary: Mediterranean (winters in Palma)

Package: Salary in Euros, 42 days leave per year

Experience/Skills required:

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience on superyachts in a similar role
• Strong housekeeping and service skills
• Confident with laundry and guest turn-downs
• Ability to cook simple, healthy crew meals during off-season
• Energetic team player with a positive and flexible attitude

Qualifications required:

• STCW (fully updated) with PSA/PDSD
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (ENG1)
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
