Chief Engineer – 30m Commercial HSCDöhle Yachts are looking to recruit an experienced Chief Engineer for a commercial High Speed Passenger Vessel within our fleet.Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join a high-speed passenger vessel fleet operating in the Channel Islands between Jersey and Guernsey. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the vessel’s engineering systems, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the operation and maintenance of all engineering systems on board. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations. Manage the engineering team, providing leadership and training as needed. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure the vessel’s readiness. Maintain accurate records of all engineering activities and maintenance.Qualifications:STCW Chief Engineer Unlimited Certificate of Competency. Extensive experience with high-speed passenger vessels. Strong knowledge of marine engineering systems and regulations. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Benefits:Competitive salary, depending on experience, and benefits package.
