SENIOR HOSPITALITY DIRECTOR POSITION

About the Client
This is a position that is based in Dubai, UAE.
The client is a UHNW family.
You would be the Senior Hospitality DIRECTOR for this client.
The package:
This position is a LIVE IN position - all though you will be in a DEDICATED accommodation (apartment) and you will not be living within the property of the family. Family will cover the cost for your accommodation.

Recruitment Process:
All initial interviews will be telephonic interviews, and the final interviews would be organized in-person, directly in Dubai. The client pays for all the flights. We are looking for candidates who are extremely flexible, who understand that interviews and calls can be organized on a last minute basis and who understand the implication requested to be working on such a position.
The project:
The family is looking for a Senior Hospitality Director with15 years of experience in Hospitality (Luxury Hotels, Resorts, Palaces, Chalets, etc.) on a top management position, who is able to start to work reasonably soon, (depending on the path of the recruitment process of course).
The client will only consider profiles who have extensive experience in hospitality and who already have previous experiences as a Property Director/Villa Manager for private UHNWI / families with experience in top management in Hospitality.
This is a permanent contract. There will be a period of trial (defined by the client during the interview). The trial period could be up to 3 months.
You must have 15 years of experience working as a Hospitality Director and you are used to handling:
- Property Management (Private Properties: Villas/Chalets/Palaces or 5* Hotels)
- Experience in Yacht Crew Management could be an advantage
- Recruiting & Managing the Crew/Personnel on these properties/yachts
- Overseeing the operations of all teams in collaboration with respective team leaders
- Are able to anticipate the client/family's expectations and learn their protocols
The client is looking for someone with significant experience working for VIPs, UHNWI and Private families before as a Hospitality Director. In order to apply for this position, you must take a LIVE-IN position.
For this position, you will be in charge of:
- The property in Dubai running with 40 staff members
- Motor Yacht of Client based in the Mediterranean
- Recruitment of Personnel on property in Dubai & the boat in the Mediterranean
- Management of aforementioned crew & Performance Evaluation in collaboration with Team Leaders
- Co-ordinating with intermediate management companies to ensure contract/visa/recruitment of crew
- Ensuring that all environments - land-based properties & boats are functioning smoothly from the Hospitality perspective
- Learning about the protocols & expectations of all family members and organising the on-ground service with team Leaders - Interior Managers/Chief Stewardesses/Villa Managers in accordance to these expectations & protocols
Desired profile
You are:
- From the Hospitality (Luxury Hotels, Chalets, Palaces, Resorts, etc.) and/or Yachting industry
- Significant successful experience working with VIPs, VVIPs or Private families - in assisting & administrative settings - you must have 15 years of experience as a PA (minimum, non-negotiable).
- Experienced in an international purview from a wide perspective
- You must me fluent in English, other languages are appreciated
- You are extremely reactive in conflict resolution and handling last-minute arrangements
- A strong multitasker, detail and result-oriented person
- Very well organized and have the ability to deal with pressure and time constraints
- Calm, pleasant and discreet
- Punctual and well presented, and have good communication skills
- Having knowledge in all kind of services
- Giving a great importance to respect with hygiene and safety procedures and rules
- Working efficiently under operational pressure
- You have a strong positive attitude and you are a smiling person
- You are extremely flexible and you do understand that working for VIPs requires flexibility
- You have a strong sense of service
- Very flexible, dynamic, multitasker
- Hard-working and always available
Salary : €14000 - €16000/month Based on profiles and experience (To be discussed further orally)

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
