Home Care Assistant (Live-in) for single gentleman in McLaren Vale, Adelaide - MCVM

We are seeking a caring and mature individual to assist an elderly gentleman who is fully self reliant and living in large home but requires some assistance with day to day general tasks, meals and outings.

The right person would be responsible for and assisting with the following duties:-

• -         Meal planning, preparation and sharing of meals weekly
• -         Daily maintenance of the residence (deep cleaning weekly by others)
• -         Shopping and errands in the local area
• -         Any other day to day incidental requirements

We envisage the paid working hours will be around 15 hours per week, with added hours by agreement as required.  The position offers a remuneration package which includes provision of a private self contained single accommodation separate to the main residence and including cost of electricity and wifi facilities. (No overnight visitors or pets allowed).

Further remuneration of $40,000 to be negotiated with the right person. An agreement will be based on a 12 month contract with all relevant details including leave and time off. Total package accumulates to approximately $65,000 pa.

Must have own vehicle with current drivers licence, first aid certificate, National Police check and must be an Australian resident. Must speak fluent English, be honest, reliable and non-smoker.
