Bosun

We are looking for an experienced Bosun to join a 50m+ private support vessel operating in the Mediterranean. This is a single-season program with a structured deck team and opportunities for professional development.

Role Overview:

As Bosun, you will be part of a deck team of four and play a crucial role in deck operations, maintenance, and watersports activities. Candidates with a Yachtmaster in hand will have the opportunity to gain valuable bridge time and be involved in navigation watches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily deck operations, ensuring high standards of maintenance and presentation.
• Assist with tender operations and watersports activities, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Conduct deck maintenance, including varnishing, painting, teak maintenance and general upkeep.
• Support bridge duties and navigation watches for candidates with a Yachtmaster certification.
• Train and mentor junior deck crew as needed.
• Work closely with the Captain and Chief Officer to ensure smooth deck operations.

Requirements:

• Yachtmaster certification preferred
• Previous lead deck experience is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of deck maintenance and watersports operations.
• Experience with tender driving and guest interaction.
• Keen to grow within the programme and take on additional responsibilities over time.

Package:

• Salary: €5,000 per month
• Leave: 30 days paid leave with flexibility during winter periods
