Chief Stew

We are seeking an experienced Chief Stewardess to join a 50m private sailing yacht operating in the Mediterranean. This is a single-season vessel with reduced and flexible working hours during the winter months.

Role Overview:

As Chief Stewardess, you will lead an interior team of three, with additional support from stews on the fleet’s support vessels during peak periods. We are looking for a candidate with proven experience managing a successful interior team who can integrate seamlessly into a close-knit, professional crew.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the interior department, ensuring exceptional service standards
• Train, mentor, and support the interior team to maintain a well-organized and motivated department.
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Manage inventories, provisioning, and interior budgets efficiently.
• Ensure high standards of housekeeping, laundry, and guest services.
• Maintain strong communication with the captain and owners regarding interior needs and preferences.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Chief Stewardess or Senior Stewardess on similar-sized yachts.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent eye for detail and ability to provide exceptional service in a private setting.
• Ability to foster a positive and professional team dynamic.
• Longevity and commitment to growing within the fleet.
