We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chief Officer for a 70m+ private/charter motor yacht to join the vessel the coming days in the U.S.

This is a busy world cruising yacht with plans to be in the Mediterranean for summer '25 and world cruising thereafter.

Working on a 3:3 rotation.

Proven experience as a Chief Officer on yachts of similar size essential

Valid STCW and ENG1.

Chief Mate 3000 as minimum.

Proficiency as Ship Security Officer (SSO) (A-VI/5)

B1/B2

Strong understanding of navigation, safety procedures, and yacht management.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and under pressure.

Comprehensive knowledge of all bridge equipment.

Ideal candidate will have job continuity in rank and excellent verifiable references.

19 crew in total.

English mother tongue or proficiency in English language.

SEA contract

Medical

Flights to and from the vessel.

Please note that the vessel operates with a no couple policy and is a dry boat.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on yachts matching the following requirements:

  • Yacht sizes:  > 70m
  • Yacht types:  motor
  • Experience length:  min 5 years

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.

Visa Requirements:

B1/B2 visa is required for this role. US and Canadian citizens do not require the B1/B2 visa.
