Yacht Manager

Location: UK Based / Hybrid Working Model

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Yacht Manager to oversee a portfolio of yachts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, delivering the highest levels of service to our clients.

The role requires an in depth knowledge of yacht operations, strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise in a fast paced environment. The Yacht manager will act as the primary point of contact with Yacht Owners and will be required to build a trusted relationship with accurate and regular communications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of yachts operating with ISM & Mini ISM, ensuring the safe and efficient running of the vessels appointed to them;
• Monitor and review of Yacht and crew certification;
• Communication with Owner and Family Offices as required. Preparation of periodic reports, Quarterly reports, vessel attendance reports and expenditure analysis;
• Preparation and control of budgets for operational and project based expenditure;
• Preparation and control of yacht refit schedules, budgets, forecasts and acceptance of works;
• Payroll and monitoring of crew leave;
• Insurance renewals and claim administration;
• Control of yacht inventories;
• Regular yacht attendance;
• Participate in Emergency Response Team and company audits

Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position
• Yacht experience as a Captain, Chief Officer, or Chief Engineer
• In-depth knowledge of ISM Code, ISPS Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC, and other maritime codes and conventions.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ISM yacht management software platforms.
