Viking Crew are looking for two Y1/Y2 Rotational Chief Engineers for 70m sailing yacht

Sought for a cutting-edge new build sailing yacht which will launch in the Summer of 2025.

This is an exciting, once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of an evolving project that will push the boundaries of yacht design and operation.

Essential qualities:

  • Y1 or Y2 MCA Chief Engineer certificate. STCW. ENG1
  • Proven experience with the management and maintenance of 700V DC electrical generation and regeneration, safety and compliance protocols to ensure the smooth operation of the systems.
  • Experience with fully electric propulsion systems is desirable.
  • Knowledge of IT control systems is essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and record keeping.
  • Team player ethos essential to success.
  • Sailing background is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English is a must.

Certificates and Qualifications:
