We are searching for an experienced Engineer with deck skills to join a  27m classic motor yacht.
PRIVATELY Owned
BASED Palma
This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in operating, maintaining, and servicing all onboard machinery and systems, including:
2 x  main engines
2 x gensets
Hydraulic stabilizers
Bow thruster
AC plant
Safety systems
Electronic systems
The ideal candidate will have significant engineering experience and be confident in performing routine maintenance and repairs. This is not a role for those looking to break into yacht engineering or learn on the job.
While the primary focus is engineering, the role also involves assisting with deck duties such as washdowns, deck scrubs, setups, and hospitality tasks. The yacht operates without a dedicated deckhand so flexibility and teamwork are essential.
Salary : $5500/ month
Winter : based PALMA
Summer : Cruising the Mediterranean

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on yachts matching the following requirements:

  • Yacht sizes:  24-29m
  • Yacht types:  motor
  • Yacht uses:   private
  • Experience length:  min 2 years

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
