A high profile 40m Private / Charter MY based in QLD is on the search for a rotation chief engineer holding an MEC 3 to join their program.

The vessel operates, twin MTU engines & twin Northern Lights generators

The yacht spends all its time in QLD, being Gold Coast based between February to July and Whitsundays based August to February

The yacht is fine with rotating chief engineers within Australia / NZ region as a preference

Shared cabin / bathroom, fun and active crew, watersports program onboard

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds an MEC 3
• Engineer time on superyachts (preferred, not essential)
• Off rotations to be located in Oz/NZ
• Enjoys an active crew environment
• Hands on with preventative maintenance
• Good knowledge of AMSA survey requirements
• Strong technical aptitude
• Some AV/IT skills
• Working rights for Australia

Salary: $145,000-$150,000 AUD + Super DOE

Rotation: 6 weeks On/Off  OR 4 weeks On/Off

Start: Flexible, early May at the latest
