Experienced Head of Housekeeping required for rotational position on new build motor yacht
Date: Late April/ Early May
Location: Worldwide/TBC
Package: Salary in Euros, 182.5 days Leave
Job Description:
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in 70m+ yachts with extensive housekeeping experience
- To provide an efficient and professional level of Housekeeping for the Owners and Guests and ensure all requirements and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Maintenance and Cleanliness of the interior of the Yacht under the direction of the Chief Stewardess.
- Maintaining and updating housekeeping manuals including materials care, product use, guidelines, MSDS.
- Monitor and update Interior SOP’s and Risk Assessments.
- Responsible for the day to day organization of the Housekeeping team.
- Ensure the highest standards of detailing and cleaning of the Guest and Crew areas are met.
- Assist Chief Stewardess in monitoring the laundry department including the management of guest and crew laundry and ensuring all correct systems are implemented and adhered to.
- Ensure Interior defects log is kept up to date and is regularly reported back to the Chief Stewardess and Chief Engineer.
- Monitoring of operational stock levels and inventories relating to Crew and Guest toiletries, crew dry stores, housekeeping and laundry products.
- Provide feedback on the housekeeping stewardess performance to ensure appropriate training systems can be implemented.
- Assist Chief Stewardess in the training of Housekeeping stewardesses.
- Ensure housekeeping storage areas are kept clean and organized.
Qualifications required:
Fully updated STCW
Food & Hygiene L2
Proficiency in Designated Security Duties
Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Min 6 months validity)
Seaman’s Discharge Book
*Must be willing to undergo extensive background checks and pre employment drug test (not applicable for internal transfers)*

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
