Job Description:

Minimum 3-4 years’ service stewardess experience in 70m+ yachts

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Provide a detailed and seamless service for the Owners and Guests, ensuring all requirements and expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Provide feedback on the service stewardess performance to ensure appropriate training systems can be implemented.
  • Assist Chief Stewardess in the training of Service stewardesses.
  • Assists with the planning and organizing of parties and events along-side the Chief Stewardess
  • Ensure Service inventories are kept up to date and report low stock levels to Chief Stewardess.
  • Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of wines, spirits and silver service.
  • Responsible for the day to day running of the Service team.
  • Ensure pantries and service storage areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Reporting of any safety or operational defects to the Chief Stewardess.
  • Monitoring of all stock levels and inventories relating to Wine, Spirits and Guest stores.
  • Maintenance of all floral arrangements.

Qualifications required:

Fully updated STCW

Food & Hygiene L2

Proficiency in Designated Security Duties

Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Min 6 months validity)

Seaman’s Discharge Book

*Must be willing to undergo extensive background checks and pre employment drug test (not applicable for internal transfers)*

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
