Rotational 2nd Engineer – 100m Private M/Y

Start date: June

Location: Caribbean/Mediterranean

Package: Salary in Euros. 182.5 days leave per year. Time for time rotation

Experience and attributes required:

A minimum of 2-3 year in the role would be required.

Day to Day running of the engine room, reporting to the Chief Engineer.

Comply with Flag State, Class, MARPOL and Local Regulations concerning all discharge.

Responsible to the Chief Engineer to carry out maintenance and repair work as directed.

Basic engineering training of all Deck crew.

Reporting of any safety or operational defects to the Chief Engineer.

Organising and posting the Engineering working and watch-keeping rosters.

Maintenance of all fixed firefighting systems.

Maintenance of MTU 4000 series Main engines and CAT C18 Generators.

Maintenance of the oil spill response equipment.

Maintenance is completed in accordance with IDEA PMS.

Maintaining spare parts and consumables levels. Ordering in conjunction with the Chief Engineer.

Qualifications required (all mandatory):

STCW III/2 Second Engineer or Chief Engineer unlimited

STCW basic and advanced- fully updated

PSA and PDSD

Seafarer’s Medical Certificate

Seaman’s Discharge book
