Overview

Our client, a creative French-American couple, is seeking a full-time, Live-in Private Chef for their residence in central Paris. The role involves working closely with them to create fresh, nutritious, and beautifully presented meals that complement their active lifestyle.

The role involves preparing and serving three meals a day, with occasional catering for intimate dinner parties and larger gatherings when the principals entertain. Notice will be given for events.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on nutrition, using fresh, organic ingredients to craft balanced, flavourful dishes. Weekly menus will be planned and approved by the Principals, with a preference for Italian, Mediterranean, and Asian cuisines. A solid understanding of macronutrients is highly desirable.

Travel may be required, with advance notice provided.

One of the principals has a severe peanut allergy, and strict adherence to allergen safety is essential.

Job duties

Responsibilities of the Private Chef in Paris includes:

Create weekly menus, tailored to the couples’ preferences
Grocery shopping for fresh and organic ingredients
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
Prepare and cook nutritious meals for two adults
Travel between properties to provide consistent support
Candidates must be/have:
Previous experience as a Private Chef in a HNW/UHNW Household
Strong understanding of dietary needs and nutrition
Fluent French and English
EU Passport holder/right to work in France
Expertise in Italian, Mediterranean, and Asian cuisines
Experience with allergies – specifically peanut
Accommodation
A private suite will be provided.

Hours
Five days per week – with flexibility if required.

Full days – serving breakfast, lunch and supper.

Location
Central Paris, France.

Salary
€7000 per month.
