Deckhand/OOW – Busy Private 100m M/Y

Start date: May 1st

Itinerary: Worldwide cruising

Package: Salary in Euros, 90 paid leave (3/1 rotation)

Experience and attributes required:

Dual role where reporting to the Bosun when working on deck and to the Chief Officer/Captain if working on the bridge

Tender driving as required.

Maintenance and cleanliness of the exterior of the Yacht under the direction of the Bosun

Launching and recovering tenders and toys as required.

Reporting of any safety or operational defects to bosun.

Guest entertainment, supervision, and safety whilst in the water.

To help maintain a safe and secure environment on board.

Assist in mooring/anchoring operations under direction.

Involved in emergency response teams at sea or in port.

Watchkeeping duties whilst the vessel is at sea/at anchor.

Qualifications required:

OOW II/1

Up to date STCW basic training including PSA

Proficiency in Designated Security Duties

Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Min 6 months validity)

Seaman’s Discharge Book

B1/B2 visa (preferred)
