About the yacht

It is a private 50 meter Motor Yacht based in the South of France. 

The boat will be going to the shipyard at the end of February 2025 - beginning March. 

There are 5 crew on board at this stage and during the season, there will 9 crew in total. 

It is a red flag. 

The project 
We are looking for an Experienced Deckhand ready to start as soon as possible. 

After the shipyard, the boat will be cruising around Greece from mid June til mid July and for the rest of the season until mid September ish, the boat will be cruising around the south of France.

The  boat has an important Beach Club with a lot of water toys, jet skis, ect... and the owners like to use it a lot. We are therefore looking for a Deckhand who will be helping and entertaining a lot in this regard. A strong sense of service is requested for this position. 

This is a permanent position that could start either directly under a permanent contract with a trial period of 3 months or that could start with a short term contract of 3 months renewed after under a permanent contract. 

Desired profile 

  • Suitable candidates must have a valid STCW, and a valid medical certificate.
  • PBL2 needed. 
  • PWC
  • Master 200 / Yachtmaster to drive the tender is a plus. 
  • Fluency in English is essential. French or spanish speaking could be a plus.
  • Need to have previous extensive experience in the yachting industry as a deckhand. 
  • We are looking for a dynamic person, who is sporty, who presents well and who enjoys watertoys and who has a good knowledge using them. 

Salary: 3000 euros nets/month, negotiable depending on profile and experience

 

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the following languages is required: English, French

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
