We are currently looking for a Sole Chef to join a:

  • 32m Private SY
  • Food Safety Level 2 Required
  • Permanent positions
  • 42 days leave and industry standard salary on offer, paid in USD.
  • Dual season programme
  • Diving qualifications are a big plus as crew often dive with the owners!

The ideal candidates will have previous sail yacht experience, on similar sized vessels. The candidate must be able to cater to up to 5 crew and up to 8 guests. The candidate must be comfortable cooking for guests whilst underway, self provision often in remote locations, with emphasis on hygiene and stock rotation! In terms of cooking style, the owners typically have family style but the candidate must be able to upscale on occasions. Previous catering towards gluten free and vegetarian cooking is essential!

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
