Junior Cook / Galley Hand

We are looking for a competent Junior Cook or Galley Hand to join our team aboard a high-profile 130m+ superyacht.

This position is open to both experienced and less experienced candidates, but you must have prior large yacht experience as a crew cook or galley hand.

You will be working with an experienced, happy, and efficient team, maintaining the highest standards of service and cleanliness in the galley and adjacent catering compartments, including crew mess duties.

Key responsibilities: 

• Assist in preparing exceptional crew meals, ensuring the highest standards in catering.
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene in the galley, storerooms, crew mess, and other areas as required.
• Be flexible and assist where needed to support the team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Yacht experience as a Crew Chef or Galley Hand on a high profile yacht.
• Exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to assist with healthy and nutritious crew meals, with a willingness to take instruction and contribute to a harmonious crew environment.
• A well-groomed, professional and presentable personal appearance in line with yacht industry high standards.
• Female candidates are preferred due to cabin arrangements

Requirements:

• STCW 5-Part and a valid Seafarer’s Medical Certificate.
• Food & Hygiene Level II or higher.
• Schengen or US B1/B2 visa preferred but not required.

What We Offer:

• Salary based on experience.
• 91 days paid leave per year.
