  • You will be in charge of the logistics for the boats/yachts being managed by the organisation.
  • Some of your primary tasks would include securing berths for the clients' boats/yachts at a short notice.
  • You will need to collaborate with the boats in question to anticipate their docking/berth needs in advance and have a global perspective on the movements of all boats under your supervision.

  • You can anticipate peculiar needs for clients and their yachts thanks to your experience and can quickly come up with solutions.
  • The primary objective us to ensure that the clients have a seamless yachting experience coming in and out of the port, while you are ensuring all the formalities on the shore.
  • In order to do so, please be aware that you will be using the internal software and you will be editing and handling quotes, invoices and managing the deposits.

Desired profile:

  • You must have 2-4 years of experience in the yachting industry, with ideally a focus on logistics and port operations.

  • First of all, you have great organizational skills and a great memory, you manage to keep records of your work, you prioritize your tasks in an efficient manner and you remember well your clients' need/habits.
  • Second, you have a great common sense and even if they are tasks you have never taken care of, you proceed in a logical manner. You could be trained if needed on specific topics, this is not a problem at all.
  • You are very good with languages and for instance you must be bilingual in French & English, Italian would be a plus. Any other language on top the 3 languages mentioned previously would be appreciated.
  • Knowing that your contract will start the latest beginning March 2025, you are fully available in the official summer season where the activity in the Mediterranean and French ports is high, sometimes including a little bit of work during weekends by using your phone.
  • You are ideally aware of all the rules and regulations of the ports in France, and other Mediterranean ports
  • You are at ease with numbers and you have a very good understanding of basic accounting (quotes, invoices, deposit) and with good knowledge of MS Office Word and especially Excel
