Experienced Housekeeper for family of six in Gordon, Sydney - GODM

A busy family of 6 is looking for a full-time Housekeeper to maintain their large, recently renovated home in Gordon (Northern suburbs of Sydney). We are looking for someone with experience and understanding of maintaining luxury interiors and furnishings as well as a thorough knowledge of laundry which includes delicates, handwashing and fine fabric care.

The family includes a toddler and two much loved indoor cats, so we are seeking someone who also enjoys being around pets and doesn’t mind cleaning out their litter trays and providing them with food when they get hungry! Other duties will include cleaning and housekeeping to high standards, maintaining consumables such as soaps, toilet/tissues, making beds daily and changing linens weekly plus other general housekeeping/house management duties.

This role is full-time Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays (9am – 6pm), Fridays (9am – 5pm) and Saturdays (9am – 2pm). There is also the opportunity to live-in and care for the cats and home when the family are travelling.

We are seeking housekeepers with the following experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in private housekeeping/ house management
• Strong eye for detail
• Self-motivated, good initiative and able to follow direction
• Excellent Housekeeping and Laundry skills
• Be detail oriented with strong organisational skills
• Be comfortable with cats

Successful candidates will be friendly, reliable, experienced, a non-smoker, be an Australian citizen, hold a WWCC and current Police Check.

Start Date:  As soon as the right person is found

Rate:  Up to $50 per hour for the right person (Annual Salary with Super, leave entitlements, etc)
