JMS are looking for the following: Chief Engineer 
 

  • Start date ASAP
  • Y3 minimum qualification 
  • 10K euro pm 
  • Full time role whilst the vessel is in the yard in Holland until launch end 2025.
  • The ideal candidate will have both extensive commercial and yachting experience

We are seeking an experienced Chief engineer for this exciting new build project.
The vessel is a 60m explorer, currently under construction in Holland. This exciting build has extreme remote operation capabilities- Dynamic positioning, Diesel electric + batteries ( hybrid system ) Heat recovery systems, Full bacterial sewage treatment, Commercial offshore equipment throughout. Experience in these areas is looked on favorably!
The position would be to assist the build and commissioning engineer, then follow onwards with a round the world trip on rotation. Rotation 10/10 will start after the first 4 months of cruising. 
The Vessel is looking for someone who is dynamic, sporty, social, hands on with a flexible mindset!

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
