Rotational Engineer on a 50-meter Yacht

Looking for serious sole Engineer (1 person) ideally with minimum of 3+ years on a similar-sized yachts. Shall rotate position on 2:2 basis with Senior Engineer who is already employed on board.

Candidate must have firm knowledge of Caterpillar manis and generators, Webasto air-conditioning systems, home automation system, modern and latest AV/IT, electrical, small boat systems (chase boat – inboard engine), hydraulic and generally all systems on board.

Candidate shall be problem solving oriented with firm engineering experience and capable of resolving issues by himself. Not looking for someone that relies on outside vendors solely. Organization and cleanliness are a must. Holding a Caterpillar Engine Course is great advantage, but not mandatory. Has also solid knowledge in ISM and running PMS

Qualifications: Y3 or equivalent + High standard of spoken English

Experience: Min. 3 years engineer experience
Salary: DOE 5.500-7.000 € month + 13th salary after 1yr service

ETERNAL SPARK yacht is 100% charter vessel. She is 49 meter long carrying 498 gross tons over 4 decks. Offers 6 guest cabins for up to 12 guests. Run by 9 crew on board (18 in total) Crew accommodation in 5 crew cabins – 4x functional doubles with an ensuite toilet/shower + 1x single Captain cabin with an ensuite bathroom.

She is brand new (2024) yacht currently in the shipyard finishing warranty works. Very busy charter schedule ahead. Very happy and generous charter clients. No private use. Professional management and reporting system in place.

Double season plans. Cruising summers in MED and winters US. Full rotational crew. Looking for the crew on all positions – 2025 first year entering in fully rotational schedule.
