Second Officer – Private 55m MY

Hill Robinson Recruitment is delighted to bring to market the position of 2nd Officer for a busy private motor yacht. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are newly qualified or have already gained some experience in a 2nd Officer role.

This is a fantastic chance to work closely with a Captain and Chief Officer who will provide guidance and support. The role offers excellent exposure to bridge operations, watchkeeping duties, and administrative tasks, all within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

• Start date: Mid January
• Location: Europe – Single Season
• Package: Salary in Euros

Experience and attributes required:

• Newly qualified 2nd officer
• Preferably yacht background.
• Tender operations experience.
• Be able to uphold the high standards onboard
• Team player, hardworking, self-motivated.
• Good working knowledge of the deck department
• Confident in communicating with guests
• Be a good team player


Qualifications required:

• Officer of Watch
• Fully updated STCW
• Proficiency in Designated Security Duties
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Min 6 months validity)
• Seaman’s Discharge Book
