About this role
Second Chef – Private Yacht 100 m+ MY
- Start date: 15th of January
- Location: Europe / Middle East
- Package: Salary in Euros, 176 paid days leave
Experience and attributes required:
- 8 years’ experience as a chef ideally past experiences in cruise ships or luxury hotels/restaurants, yachting experience not essential
- Experience in South American cuisine is preferred.
- Experience with sous vide is beneficial but not essential.
- We are looking for past longevity and willingness for a long-term commitment onboard
- Team player, sociable, hard worker
Qualifications required:
- Crowd & Crisis Management
- PDSD
- Food & Hygiene L2
- Fully updated STCW
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties
- Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Min 6 months validity)
- Seaman’s Discharge Book
- Schengen visa or right to work in Europe

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
