About this role

Crew Chef opportunity aboard Private 90m+ M/Y

Chef position available on a busy private Motor with International Cruising program, cooking for the Crew and assisting the Head and Sous Chefs.

Start date:        January 20th, 2025

Itinerary:           Worldwide / TBC

Salary:               Highly competitive salary Paid in Euros

Experience/attributes required:

* Restaurant background preferred 

* Minimum 2 years’ experience on Yachts cooking for large amounts of Crew

* Ability and personal drive to provide healthy and a varied repertoire of cuisines

* Ensuring galley and equipment are maintained to the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness

* Ability to ensure all proficient and effective stock control with fresh and dry stock

* Excellent attention to detail

* Positive outlook

* Teamwork and multi-tasking

 

Qualifications required:

* STCW (fully updated)

* Proficiency in Designated Security Duties

* Seafarer’s Medical Certificate

* Culinary certificate  plus Ship’s Cook (preferred)

* Seafarer’s Discharge Book (preferable)

* Food Safety & Hygiene L2 Certificate

* Fully vaccinated (client’s request) mandatory

* B1/B2 (Highly preferred)

 Non smoker / no visible tattoos

 

* Must be willing to undergo extensive background checks and pre-employment drug testing*

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
