Estate Manager – Europe (LDR-3712)

About this role

Hill Robinson Recruitment is seeking an experienced Estate Manager to oversee the seamless operation of a private estate based in Europe. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, discretion, and strong leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the estate runs efficiently and maintains the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and functionality.
• Establish and maintain household manuals and schedules.
• Conduct staff performance reviews and address any issues promptly.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers for maintenance, renovations, and other projects.
• Negotiate contracts and oversee work to ensure quality and timeliness.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate should have:

• Proven experience managing one or more large estates.
• A strong background in managing staff (ideally up to 20 people), service standards, concierge services, meeting arrangements, and housekeeping.
• Familiarity with renovation processes, even if hands-on involvement is not required.
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken).
• The ability to handle last-minute changes, manage multiple workloads, and work creatively and independently.
• IT literacy
• Valid driver’s license.

• Willingness to undergo a background check.
