Sole Engineer 40m private Motor Yacht

Viking Crew require a sole Engineer 
40 Metre Private Motor Yacht - Auckland Based
Start date February 2025.
This position will suit someone who is looking for a long-term position based in Auckland. This a great program with 2 days off per week, most nights at home and excellent owners.
The ideal candidate will hold either Y3/ MEC 3/ MED 1/ or similar (but not necessary) - Experience working with MTU 4000 series engines will be considered an asset
This role will suit an energetic individual with an interest in fishing/diving and exploring NZ and the Pacific.

* Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
* Be prepared to assist on deck regularly
* Have the right to work in New Zealand
This is a fulltime, live ashore position (you must have your own accommodation in Auckland).
The vessel spends 9 to 10 months in New Zealand and 2 to 3 months in Fiji each year.
