The Senior Sous Chef will manage galley operations and lead a large team aboard a 100m+private yacht. Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a large galley team, providing training, support, and direction.
- Planning and executing diverse, high-quality menus for guests and crew.
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP and safety standards.
- Managing stock control, provisioning, and budgets.
- Innovating new dishes with a focus on presentation and taste.
- Maintaining excellent communication with the interior team to ensure seamless service.
- Proven experience as Head Chef, ideally on large yachts or in similar high-pressure environments.
- Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for delivering exceptional cuisine.
Certificates and Qualifications:
All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
