About the yacht

40m private sailing yacht, EU flag, built in 1991.

The project

We are looking for a Sole Engineer for a 40m busy private sailing yacht based in the South of France, to start ASAP, permanent position after 1month trial.

Type of engines:

  • Main engines : Caterpillar 3406 DITA x 2  (8.000 h each)
  • Propulsive  power: 2 x 300 kW
  • Caterpillar Generator  C4.4  x 2  (8.000 h each)

Desired profil

  •  English or Italian is mandatory.
  •  Chief engineer 750 kw ticket, MEOL, AEC2 or Y4 is needed
  •  Well presented, experience in a similar role is required. 
  • We are looking for someone enthusiast and motivated with a real interest in Sailing yachts. 
  • The  candidate has to live between Saint Tropez and Imperia.

Salary: 4000 euros/month

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
