I am working with a global yacht management company who are looking for a Yacht Manager to join their team in their Fort Lauderdale office.
This is an office-based role, and you must have the right to live and work in the USA, ONLY applicants that possess either a valid Green Card or a US Passport will progress through the selection process. No sponsorship is offered as part of the package.
The yacht manager is responsible for managing the client relationships within Yacht Management, ensuring all contractual deliverables are met and the highest standards of excellence are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Actively oversee the provision of yacht management services for a fleet of yachts.
- Maintain and manage essential relationships with clients, captains, and crew.
- Implement and uphold ARROW's established systems.
- Ensure yachts comply with the Company's Safety Management System (SMS).
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements across the yacht portfolio.
- Identify and explore commercial opportunities such as refits and new builds.
- Participate in the Emergency Response Team as outlined in the Emergency Response Plan.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience sailing as Senior Deck Officer on-board superyachts
- Shore-based experience within a yacht management company is highly desirable
- Excellent knowledge of flag and class regulations
- Strong knowledge of ISM/ISPS
- Auditor experience and/or qualification
- Project management experience in the superyacht sector, including refits, new builds, and dry docks
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent decision-making ability
- Willingness and ability to look after owners' interests
- Well-presented
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Computer literate and comfortable with technology and software
- Strong attention to detail and report writing
- Willing and able to travel frequently, as and when required
- Spanish speaking highly desirable

Work Experience Requirements:
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.
Language Requirements:
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications:
All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.
A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
