Housekeeper (1 day per week) for family of 2 (+pets) in Labrador,QLD Gold Coast - LABM

A lovely couple (and their friendly dogs and pet birds) are seeking an experienced Housekeeper/Cleaner to help them keep their lovely home in Labrador on the Gold Coast, clean, tidy and organised. One of the pups attends doggy daycare and the other will soon when it is old enough, but the couple being bird fanciers do have 3 pet birds (in cages) in the home, so we are looking for someone with experience in bird care

General duties will include cleaning areas of the home, rotating weekly, taking care of the laundry, organising wardrobes and other storage spaces as required, organising and restocking pantry, occasional outdoor deck and small garden maintenance and changing the newspaper in the bird’s cage. (Birds will not occupy their cage during these times!)

They are also looking for someone who is happy to prepare the occasional gluten-free and vegan style snacks and platters when they may have a friend or two over as well.

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience in private homes preferred;
• A high level of detail;
• Ability to work without supervision;
• Knowledge of laundry;
• Happy to clean up after the birds;
• Hold a Police Check ;
• Drivers License and Own Car;

An generous hourly rate up to $75 per hour depending on your experience.
