Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Charter Marketing Manager to join their growing luxury travel team in southwest London. The position will be responsible for managing the marketing and promotion of an expanding fleet of luxury expedition yachts available for charter in some of the most exciting destinations worldwide.

Working closely with a range of internal teams, and global charter brokers to ensure the yachts are optimally marketed and fully booked, while also providing owners and captains with the tools and insights they need to succeed. This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced position suited for someone with a proven track record in charter yacht marketing and a passion for the luxury yachting industry.

Job duties

Responsibilities of a Charter Marketing Manager for a luxury travel team include:

  • Oversee the marketing of the current fleet of Central Agency yachts available for charter
  • Maintain and update accurate records on yacht specifications, calendars, financial details, and charter booking reports
  • Manage the yachts’ booking calendars to maximise charter opportunities
  • Establish and nurture relationships with charter retail brokers globally closely with the in-house marketing team
  • Provide accurate, timely, and creative marketing materials and yacht details to charter brokers and prospective clients
  • Respond swiftly and professionally to all charter inquiries, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring all queries are addressed promptly
  • Actively prospect and recruit new yachts for the fleet, targeting exciting expedition yachts that align with the brand’s values and market positioning
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets through effective marketing strategies
  • Prepare detailed marketing reports for yacht owners and captains
  • Ensure accurate and timely inputting of data into the company’s CRM system

Candidates must be/have:

  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar marketing or charter management role within the luxury yachting or hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong understanding of the MYBA contract, charter agreements, and yacht charter market dynamics
  • Highly organised with a keen attention to detail
  • Comfort with digital marketing strategies, CRM systems, and data analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated creativity in marketing and content creation, combined with a strong sales mentality
  • Personal specification
  • Exceptional ability to foster strong, collaborative relationships with Captains, Yacht Owners, and charter brokers
  • A team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and the ability to pivot when necessary

Hours
Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 18:00. Hybrid working.

Location
2-3 days a week working from the office in SW London.

1-2 days WFH.

Salary
£40,000 + commission.
