Overview

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Housekeeper/Cook to join their busy, fully staffed household in Marylebone. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining high standards, be adept at cooking nutritious meals, and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment. This role involves a variety of housekeeping, cooking, and guest care duties.

The Housekeeper/Cook will work alongside other staff, including a part-time Private Chef.

Start date: December 2024.

Job duties

• Responsibilities of the Housekeeper/Cook in Marylebone include:
• Cleaning and maintaining specialist materials, floorings, internal and external fixtures and furnishings
• Taking care of all laundry internally within the property: washing, ironing, wardrobe management, outsourcing dry cleaning
• Errand running for the household
• Oversee and manage regular packing and unpacking duties for travelling
• Daily care for three small dogs including vet care responsibilities
• Having outstanding people skills, greeting guests warmly and efficiently attending to their every need
• Preparing healthy breakfasts, lunches and dinners regularly
• Having awareness and experience of catering for dietary requirements within families (2 adults, 2 children aged 4 and 8)
• Respecting, sourcing and upholding the family’s preference for organic, fresh (and where possible) locally sourced foods
• Be capable of carrying out small household repairs, and troubleshooting household IT issues as they arise

Candidates must be/have:

• Proven experience as a housekeeper in a large HNWI household
• Passionate, reliable, and able to maintain high standards consistently
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and adaptability
• Team player with excellent time management and organisational skills
• Impeccable references, longevity in previous positions, and advanced English skills (written and spoken)
• Live within 40 minutes commutable distance of London, W1

Hours
40 hours a week. Monday – Friday.
