Wilsonhalligan have a Facilities and Maintenance Engineer position available based in London, UK.

My client is looking for a Facilities and Maintenance Engineer to look after a few properties in London.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of facility management and to ensure safety and security of the premises and grounds. 

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and approving on providers and contracts for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, and maintenance of all  facilities. 
• Maintenance of basic amenities, such as water, heating, electricity are in good working order in all premises. 
• Able to perform handyman duties such as basic plumbing, electrical, furniture assembly etc. 
• Management of allocated budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness. 
• Use best business practices to manage and reduce operation costs. 
• Track building upkeep as well as anticipated long- and short-term improvements and maintenance. 
• Keep the surrounding grounds properly cared for and landscaped. 
• Interview and hire certain facility employees and contractors, such as maintenance staff and janitorial services. 
• Handle administrative tasks, such as preparing reports to be submitted to Line Manager. 
• Respond to all emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the facility.

Location: United Kingdom
Salary: £55-£60k PA
Start: ASAP

Requirement: Right to work in the UK and a clean driving license.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
