We are looking for a captain for a 44m motor yacht with an exciting world cruise planned. Candidates must have an adventurous spirit and be ready to cruise to far out destinations for extended periods away from main stream yachting. Candidates must have extensive experience on simlar size yachts and with planing long distance cruising. Must be able to manage a program that is self sufficient and logistically challengining, and be ready to cruise with guests onboard for extended periods. Bust most importantly the successful candidate must be ready take the yacht's owners and friends to the most exciting locations scattered around the world and show them an experience of a life time.

Candidates must hold:

  • Master 3000gt or equivilant (over 500gt)
  • All valid STCW and related certificates in date
  • Hold a halid USA visa
  • Have at least 3 verifiable written references

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on yachts matching the following requirements:

  • Yacht sizes:  40-49m
  • Yacht types:  motor
  • Yacht uses:   private
  • Experience length:  min 5 years

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.

Visa Requirements:

B1/B2 visa is required for this role. US and Canadian citizens do not require the B1/B2 visa.
