West Nautical is recruiting a Russian speaking Rotational Captain for a 55m Charter/Private Vessel.

The Candidate will be joining the Vessel in Tenerife and completing the crossing to the Caribbean with the current Captain to ensure that a full handover is done.

The Candidate must be fluent in English have a minimum of 5 years experience Captaincy on similar sized Vessels, proven successful Charter record and experience working closely with Management Companies and Family Offices.

The successful Candidate will have a thorough knowledge in cruising the East, West Mediterranean and Caribbean, show a thorough understanding of all relevant shipping rules, regulations and codes and be generally safety orientated, history of a claim free Insurance and show an understanding of how various engineering systems work on board. The ability to prepare monthly & annual budgets to a strict criteria and adhere to them. Previous experience with Voly is preferred, but any form of accounting software is required.

The Vessel is looking for a strong Leader to inspire and teach Officers & Crew.

Qualifications: STCW, AFF, ENG1, PDSD, Master 3000 GT, Proficiency In Medical Care, GMDSS & ECDIS Furuno

Visas: Schengen & B1/B2

Package: Salary - DOE, Rotation 2:2, Full MLC Contract, 6 Return Annual Flights and Health Insurance

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
