Are you an engineer interested in joining a worldwide sailing program?

Position Snapshot

• $6000-$7000 US / month
• AEC 1 / 2 or AMSA equivalent
• 30 days annual leave + Flights

joining a state-of-the-art 37m private SY as it undergoes the tail end of a yard period providing the engineer a perfect opportunity to get to know the vessel before setting sail for Asia and onto Europe.

The engineer should have prior yacht experience (sail experience advantageous but not essential)

The engineer will need to be hands on with maintenance and good forward thinking with regards to parts and  spares.

Outgoing engineer will give a thorough handover, single caterpillar engine only

Candidates in Australia / NZ region highly considered

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous yacht engineer experience
• Time on sail yachts advantageous
• Flexible on ticket , trade background welcome
• Interested in a worldwide sailing program
• Not overly prone to seasickness
• Hands on with tools
• Can help complete yard works
• STCW , seafarer medical

Start: Mid to Late December

Salary:  $6000-$7000 US / month
