We are presently recruiting for an experienced Captain/Engineer & Cook/Hostess team required for a Polish flagged Fontaine Pajot 67 

Private use only and Mediterranean, single season cruising, the owners like to use their boat with their family and friends, on occasions the adult children also use the yacht with their families. The yacht is presently in Greece where it will remain for this winter. 

The Captain should have a good level of engineering skills and be able to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise. The Cook/Hostess should have a good level of cooking experience and prepare healthy Mediterranean style meals. 

At least 5 years of sailing experience preferred with Catamarans of a similar size (70ft) along with Atlantic crossing experience. 

Diving experience and certification would be highly advantageous as there are 4 sets of diving equipment onboard.

It is essential that applicants speak Russian or possibly Polish to a good level as the owners command of English is limited.

Salary on offer is €9,000 for the couple plus a food allowance of €1.500 per month.

The proposed start date would be at the end of November to facilitate a handover period with the current team who have fulfilled their commitment of 3 full cruising seasons. A winter salary would have to be discussed with the owners as it would effectively be a ‘guardianage’  period living onboard. 

The owners would be looking for a longer term commitment for the right candidates. 

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
