• Private & Scientific research focus
• Heavy Diving focus
• OOW or Master 4
• 3:1 Rotation with additional 4 weeks annual leave + flights (4 months leave/ year)

A very high profile 190’ Expedition superyacht is on the search for a 2nd officer to join their unique program & team
The vessel is used for a mixture of private owner trips and scientific research.
Past science trips have included: deep trench dives in the Indian Ocean & Ocean bed discovery missions in PNG
As there is a dive focus on the yacht the 2nd officer will have the option of being a part of the Dive Program (not essential).
The 2nd Officer must be competent on the bridge and leading a large deck team, must still be very hands on with maintenance and leading the team on deck.
Previous Superyacht experience is necessary but time in other ‘hands on’ expedition style programs will be looked on favourably
Lots of action in his role for the right candidate and not your usual push the chamois yacht, launching tenders and craft in high seas and travelling to off the beaten track locations
Program will include: Perth , Exmouth, Montebello, Rowley Shores, Kimberley, PNG, Indo , Komodo, Raja Ampat , Beyond?

The Ideal Candidate
• OOW or Master 4
• Time on Superyachts
• (optional)- Dive Experience
• Looking for off the beaten track exploration
• Can lead a strong deck team
• Can work within an ISM framework
• Hands on, Tender driving, cranes, maintenance ECT
• Work rights for Australia

Salary: Excellent Package, Paid in AUD + Super (through the Australian taxation system)

Leave: 3:1 + additional 4 weeks annual leave + flights

Start: Ideally by the 20th August or before, but flexible for the right candidate
