Housekeeper – New York

Silver Swan are working on a wonderful opportunity for an experienced full-time Housekeeper to join a prominent UHNW family in Manhattan, New York. The successful Housekeeper will be joining a fully staffed home, reporting to the Estate Manager, and working in a team of four additional Housekeepers. This role will consist of day-to-day cleaning, laundry, assisting with vendors, as well as any other ad hoc domestic duties that may arise during the working day. The family travel regularly between their house on the Upper West Side and their townhouse in lower Westchester county, so this Housekeeper position will involve travel between both of their residences. Whilst this household has high standards, the atmosphere isn’t extremely formal and the principals are very friendly, which makes for an enjoyable working environment. Responsibilities:

• All aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of residences
• Maintenance of tidiness throughout all areas of the household.
• Laundry, including caring for fine garments
• Additional duties as requested

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong command of the English language and excellent communication skills
• Professional and well-presented
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Must be able to work well as part of a team, listen well and adapt, whilst also having the motivation to take on tasks as an individual
• Possesses previous experience working for HNW or UHNW clients, with proven longevity as a full-time Housekeeper
• Excellent references from previous employers
• Must have a right to work in the US

 
Package:

• Salary: $90,000 – $120,000
• Start date: ASAP
• Live-out position
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9-5 (occasional flexibility to work evening/weekends may be required)
• Vision, dental, full medical and 401k provided
