Live out Chef – Barcelona

Silver Swan is currently looking for a Private Chef for our client's family property in Barcelona, Spain. This is a live-out position with Monday to Friday flexible working hours. The chef is required to cook Macrobiotic food for a family of 3; 1 adult, and 2 children. The chef must ensure constant creativity, expert cuisine knowledge and a positive energy in creating new and exciting dishes for the family who love excellent food. 

Responsibilities: 

• Cooking Macrobiotic food for a family of 3; 1 adults, 2 children 
• Preparing meals for the weekend 
• Creating exciting meal options for lunches and dinners
• Culinary passion for all cuisines and capability to cook them 
• Cleaning the kitchen after meal prep and service 
• Informal family-style lunches, as well as occasional dinner parties 
• Provisioning and purchasing food shopping and ingredients 

Ideal Candidate: 

• Male/Female chef 
• Must hold an EU passport
• Must live in Barcelona, Spain already 
• Must have excellent cuisine knowledge of Macrobiotic food and be able to cook different cuisines.
• Must have experience in top-level restaurants, private households, chalets, villas or Yachts. 
• Fluent Spanish and English beneficial 
• Available immediately 

Package: 

• Live-out / no accommodation provided 
• Monday to Friday flexible working days/hours
• Cooking lunch and dinner only and meal prep for the weekend 
• Salary: €3500 net per month (negotiable DOE) 
• Start date: ASAP
