Live In Couple – Paris

Silver Swan is currently working with one of our long standing, valued clients to source a live in Couple for their beautiful family household in Paris. The family have 4 children and a dog, so we are looking for Couples who are happy working with children and animals. We have placed staff with this client in the past – they are respectful, welcoming, and take very good care of their household staff. The successful Couple will be responsible for housekeeping, property maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and driving. We are looking for a Couple with fluent English, French, and other languages such as Spanish would be a bonus.

Accommodation will be provided for the successful Couple, and we’re ideally looking for someone to start ASAP.

Please note: We can only accept EU passport holders, or candidates with the right to live and work in France. We do not offer visa sponsorship. Candidates who are not eligible to live and work in France will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Property maintenance and overseeing the general upkeep of the property
• Liasiing with contractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Updating household manuals
• Reactive and proactive household maintenance
• Liaising with the house manager to ensure the house is maintained and in working order at all times
• Supervising garden maintenance in collaboration with trusted suppliers
• DIY & basic repairs
• Looking after vehicles, MOTs, and servicing
• Daily cleaning and housekeeping
• Purchasing of cleaning and household supplies
• Laundry and ironing
• Care of fine art, silverware, and fine furnishings
• Wardrobe management would be a huge bonus
• Household shopping and errands
• Formal and informal service
• Driving duties

Ideal candidates:

• MUST have the right to live and work in France
• Experience living in Paris would be a huge bonus
• Fluent English and French 
• Warm, polite approach
• Previous experience working together as a Couple
• Flexible
• Excellent knowledge of etiquette, service, and wine pairing

Package:

• Working week: Ideally 10 days on / 4 days off OR 5 days / week
• Start: ASAP
• Salary: €70,000+ net per annum
