Messman (MY 100m+)

An experienced, qualified and motivated Messman is required for a 100m+ private vessel in the Middle East. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar position on a vessel over 60m (yacht or cruise ship) and should have the necessary skills to provide exceptional service at all times in the Crew Mess and support the Galley and interior team to the best of your ability. You should be friendly, polite and be well presented with no tattoos. You should have a qualification in service and/or hygiene and have a proven track record.

The start date for this role is September 2024 and you must be vaccinated for COVID-19.

Job Specification

• Valid STCW '10 Certificates
• Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
• Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
• Minimum 2+ Years in similar role and rank experience
• Service / hygiene qualification required
• Good health and good sobriety
• Must speak fluent English
• Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
• No visible tattoos
