140m Private yacht looking for an experienced 1st engineer. 

The candidate must have a chief engineer unlimited CoC or be close to obtaining it. You must have experience in this rank on similar sized yachts. 

You will be managing the day to day running of the engine room in terms of maintenance, stock checks and watchkeeping, overseeing the work of the 2nd engineer, 3rd engineer and Motorman.

Experience with MTU4000 series engines is beneficial.

Rotation: 2:2

Salary: TBC

 

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on cruise ships or yachts matching the following requirements:

  • Yacht sizes:  > 70m
  • Experience length:  min 1 year

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
